Ingredients

  • 6 Ciabbata (the individual sandwich bread pieces)
  • 1 lb. Turkey Slices
  • 2 cups Josie Organics Organic Baby Spinach
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, or Italian Blend
  • 1 large Tomato, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz. Fresh Mozzarella (Fior di Latte), thinly sliced
  • 6 tbsp. / 4 oz. Pesto
  • 2-3 tbsp. Traditional Balsamic Vinegar, or Balsamic Glaze
  • (Optional) Fresh Basil

Bake Time: 15 minutes

    Preheat oven to 350F.

    Slice the ciabatta bread pieces down the center horizontally.

    Place the bottom slices in a 9×13″ baking pan.

    Spread 1 tablespoon pesto on each bottom slice of bread.

    Begin the layering with the shredded cheese, turkey slices (folded to fit), tomato slices, spinach, and a drizzle of the balsamic vinegar. Add the sliced fresh mozzarella now or after baking.

    Add the top bread slices.

    Bake for 15-20 minutes. Enjoy!
